Born in Germany, Zülal Atakan completed her secondary education at Fränkische Akademie in Nuremberg, Germany. She subsequently studied law at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in Türkiye, where she successfully completed her legal education.
Her professional experience includes working at an international law firm and at the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Istanbul. These roles provided her with valuable experience in an international professional environment and in matters involving cross-border relations. Her educational background and professional experience enable her to approach legal issues from both Turkish and German legal perspectives.

Zülal Atakan is currently nearing completion of her master’s degree in the field of law of obligations at the Turkish-German University. Through her postgraduate studies, she is further developing her academic knowledge of civil law and comparative legal analysis.
